Escalante

Escalante is an area in Southern Utah that has many excellent canyoneering opportunities.
Most routes are accessed via the Hole-in-the-Rock Road. Expect long drive times to get to the head of the canyon. Rain can make the road impassable.
Classics include the Egypt slots as well as the Peekaboo/Spooky loop.
